Artist | Janae Matute

Janae Matute is the Artist and Owner of Creative Toes Art Gallery. She is however, no ordinary artist. She is skilled beyond imagination and her story is one that will surely inspire you.

Using her toes, Janae is able to express herself creatively. She is differently-abled and has not let life in a wheelchair limit her potential. Her favorite verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Despite her disability, she is able to pursue her dream of being an artist. She is very talented and often experiments with different techniques. Her business has done well since she started in 2018. We are always on the lookout for what she will create next. Janae hopes that her paintings are an inspiration to you and not just colors on canvas.

Janae at District YLC

We first met Janae when she attended District Youth Leadership Camp in July 2019. Her personality was always joyous and we laughed every time we were around her. Her leadership potential shone through as she stuck through challenges at camp and was instrumental in seeing her team be the champs of our Obstacle Challenges.
