Belize Mek We Go on Facebook Live

We previously shared about an exciting new show, Belize Mek We Go, on Facebook that features Chef Sean Kuylen. Since then, we have enjoyed the first three episodes and the beautiful places they visited! They were nice and short and all left viewers craving more!

When we first saw hints of the show we were super excited because it promotes our beautiful country. In addition, it featured Chef Sean and we’re huge fans! Then when the trailer was released we saw our You Had Me At Hudut Tee in it and our excitement quadrupled! Chef Sean sure made us look good!

We are beyond excited to share that ID SEVEN’s Hudut Tee was featured in all first three episodes of Belize Mek We Go. Scroll down to watch and enjoy all three.

This first episode took place on the lovely Laughing Bird Caye National Park. It featured the Lirahuñu Seinbeidi (Garifuna for “Children of Seine Bight”) Drummers from Seine Bight Village in Southern Belize. The group are famous for winning the the Battle of the Drums Competition in Punta Gorda Town, Toledo Belize, twice in a row: 2015 and 2016. The group played two rhythms, the Paranda which is more formal and Punta which is more famous for dancing. Both were very enjoyable! Be sure to tune in to the show every Friday on Facebook. They hinted at snorkeling and eating the tasty Hudut meal in upcoming episodes.
