This coming Saturday night, Belizean Artist, Garing Carballo, will perform at the Belize Gospel Expo in Belmopan, Belize. He will share the stage with International Artist, J Prince, from Trinidad and Tobago.

It appears to be the month of music in Belize. We recently wrote a blog on two Belize artists nominated for the Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music & Media Awards. Today, we are excited to share about the upcoming Belize Gospel Expo on March 17 and 18. The Gospel Expo will take place in Belmopan at the National Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds.
We are so excited to share that two of our Belize Musicians, MD and Alida Sharp, have been nominated for the 2018 Antigua Barbuda Gospel Music & Media Awards!
This past weekend, our crew visited Belize City to participate in the Street Art Festival hosted by The National Institute for Culture and History (NICH). ID SEVEN was invited to attend by an employee of NICH who saw us at the Placencia Sidewalk Art Fest. The Street Art Fest was such a hit this year and we enjoyed seeing the artists create their masterpieces right before our eyes.
We previously shared about an exciting new show, Belize Mek We Go, on Facebook that features Chef Sean Kuylen. Since then, we have enjoyed the first three episodes and the beautiful places they visited! They were nice and short and all left viewers craving more!
Last weekend we attended our first big event—the Placencia Sidewalk Art Festival. Placencia is roughly a 3 hour drive from us (Belmopan) so we weren’t too excited about the long journey to get there. But, we had forgotten just how beautiful the drive down to the Southern part of Belize was. If you have never traveled the Hummingbird Highway in Belize, you simply must! Although long and curvy, it is seriously the most beautiful highway in Belize, and like us, you can’t help but enjoy the long drive.

Really hard to believe it’s been 6 years since we made the decision to start this little company. Today, November 20, 2017, ID SEVEN celebrates 6 years of offering fun fashion options in Belize. We have seen many happy moments along this journey. But as with everything, we have also experienced failures and those “why did I get myself in this mess” moments.
