Today, we are especially thankful for Belizeans we continue to support us in any way. People who have purchased our merch for themselves, those who gift ID SEVEN any chance they get, and those who always look out for our best interest. The list would be way too long to call names but please know that we are grateful for even the smallest of support towards our brand.

This month we have had fun celebrating with our ID SEVEN Fam. We’ve counted down 10 days of deals during which we offered specials to all customers, had giveaways for our Day Ones and Loyals, and launched our new website. We invite you to browse our new website and tell us what you think.

Below are some questions we were asked as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

Tell us about ID SEVEN.

ID SEVEN is a social business that works to empower the youths of Belize. We create Belizean merch and invest the money you spend in our store into youth programs. Be sure to check out some of the ways we invest in Belizean youths. It started as a dream between 5 friends who wanted to help youths but had no money to do so. 

How did this all start?

It started as a dream between 5 friends who wanted to assist youths in various ways but had no money to do so. They wanted to consistently offer support to youths and ID SEVEN is a sustainable means of doing so. 

How has the pandemic affected your business?

The pandemic has taught us how supportive Belizeans can really be. Our own Belizean people have backed us since we started this business and ministry and the pandemic did not change that. 

What does it mean to make it to 10 years?

It’s a great feeling! This business is operated by youths and it sets a good example to the community of what good things youths can produce if they are supported. It’s crazy the things you’ll see young people achieve if you will just give them control sometimes. 

For example, today we could have chosen any amazing baker to make our cupcakes, but we chose a 10 year old entrepreneur, Zai Rodriguez, and boy they are splendid! Young people can do it, we just need to give them the opportunity.
