The Perfect Events for Belize Small Businesses
In 2016 and 2017, our ID SEVEN Team participated in several events across Belize. After attending over 15 events throughout that time, we have selected 3 events that were our most favorite to attend.
Made in Belize Expo
The Made in Belize Expo is one of our favorite events to attend. Last summer was the first time this event was held and we had such a blast. It is held at the National Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds. The main thing we loved about this event is that it promoted Belizean-made products. Even the famous Marie Sharp was there! This is the cheapest of these 3 events to attend with a cost of $70 to set up a booth. You must bring your own tent, tables and chairs. We plan to be at the Made in Belize Expo 2019 so come see us at Booth #35.

Placencia Sidewalk Art Fest
Another event we really enjoyed and have attended again this year is the Placencia Sidewalk Art Fest. The atmosphere of this event is very unique and right along the beach. It is held along the main sidewalk in Placencia. We love that many tourists get to experience our products (and many other Belizean products) at this event. Moreover, since we are from the West, it is nice for people in the South to get to see and feel our products in person. This event is only $75 to set up a booth if you bring your own tent. You also must supply your own tables and chairs. The cost increases the further you travel from because you need to consider transport and stay since it is a 2-day event.

National Agriculture and Trade Show
Lastly, one of our very favorite events to attend is the National Agriculture and Trade Show in Belmopan. This event has been drawing crowds for years and it has always been one of our goals to attend. We finally got to participate last year and absolutely loved it! People from all across the country attend this event and we get to meet many of our supporters in person. Even though the crowd seemed smaller and slower than last year, we had just as good a time this year. This is the most expensive event to attend with a fee of $225 per booth space and you must provide your own tent, tables and chairs. This event starts Friday evening and ends Sunday evening but we only participate on Saturday and Sunday.
