Fun Belize Events

All the fun begins July in Belize. If you spent the first part of your summer sitting around, then check out these fun events coming up this July in Belize. The first one kicks off tonight in the Southernmost district of Belize: Toledo.

Captivated Outreach | July 1 | Toledo

Legacy Youth Movement will host their 4th Captivated Outreach at the Toledo Faith Outreach Christian Center in Jacintoville, Toledo at 6:30 pm. The team invites the public to come experience the love of God through worship, dynamic speakers, drama and concert. The event is free and features award-winning artist Mervin Budram – MD and the R1pple 3ffect Band.

The Department of Youth Services Events | June – August | Belmopan City

The Department of Youth Services (DYS) recently launched its Belmopan Summer Calendar. They have a bunch of events planned in the areas of business, chess, sports, literacy, creativity, and technology. DYS invites ages 14 and older to join in these free events. Legacy Conference | July 13-16 | Roaring Creek Village

The Legacy Conference is a gathering of young adults who have set their hearts completely on connecting with God and bringing forth His Kingdom to earth. This 4-day event costs $65 BZD and takes place at the YWAM, Banana Bank. You can find registration information on the Legacy Conference Facebook page.

Youth Empowerment Camp | July 17-28 | San Ignacio

The Department of Youth Services will be hosting a Youth Empowerment Camp at Sacred Heart College in San Ignacio. They have educational sessions and sporting competitions planned for this 2-week event. Youth ages 12-24 can sign up on the DYS Facebook page.

District Youth Leadership Camp | July 19-23 | Ontario Village

Young people are preached the message “Be a Leader” and District creates the environment for youth to do just that! The goal is to see leaders develop a real love for others, and then using biblical thinking to bring change. District challenges youths spiritually, mentally, academically, and physically. It provides an environment to have fun, create lasting relationships, and grow closer to God. The cost to attend this 5-day camp is $50 BZD.

The attendees of this year’s camp will attend the Belize Festival of Hope (information below) as their fun night.

Belize Festival of Hope | July 22 | Belize City

The main event of the Festival of Hope will be held on July 22 at the BTL Park in Belize City. This event features concerts, X-tream sports, and games. Most importantly, it shares a message about the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Admission is free and the event is open to all ages. This year’s event features Evan Craft, Papa San and Christafari.

Kaina Martinez Track and Field Game | July 22-23 | Seine Bight Village

Seine Bight Village on the Placencia Peninsula in southeastern Belize is set to host the 5th annual Kaina Martinez Track and Field Games. Named for Kaina Martinez, an Olympic athlete who represented Belize in the 2012 Games in London, the Kaina Martinez Track and Field Games features young athletes between the ages of 4-14 from Seine Bight as they compete in a series of track and field events.

Awaken Belize | July 27-29 | Independence Village

Awaken aims to do just what  says: Awaken Belize. This conference challenges youth to believe in something more than themselves. It features incredible speakers, loud music, dance, drama, and talent shows. Don’t miss this free event at The Senter in Independence Village.
